IFA Development Council
The 'IFA Development Council' is open to companies that utilise freelancer services or provide services to freelancers who are interested in the development of IFA and the freelancer market to further the aims of all stakeholders.
We are looking for companies who can function without the driver of self-interest to solve issues, promote better service levels both from and to freelancers, deliver internationalisation and aid the Board of Governing Members (BGM) in development strategies.
This is only open to companies who are already Corporate Gold Members, with a minimum of 250 freelancers either on engagement or to whom services are provided on an annual basis.
The price of membership is £2,500 per annum in addition to Gold Membership. We aim to ensure that only those companies of the highest calibre, with the correct business ethics and with a true interest in the freelancer community are attracted and selected.
A minimum of two conferences will be held per year in international locations where the freelancer market is vibrant. Members of the Board will attend each conference, an agenda with a list of speakers will be distributed in advance and any discussion papers will accompany the agenda.
Each conference will close with a feedback session where we will be looking for recommendations for development and improvement. IFA Development Council Members will get the opportunity to vote on those issues to be taken forward as development and/or actions in the next period.
